The Story
Emerging from the hazy undercurrent of Southern California's underground, The Noir Dalis craft a hypnotic blend of shoegaze, post-punk, and neo-psychedelia—where shimmering textures collide with a dark, cinematic pulse.
Originally conceived as a solo project by Carlos Bojorquez in 2018, the band has since evolved into a fully realized sonic collective, pushing beyond its garage-psych roots into expansive, immersive soundscapes.
Now operating as a four-piece, the current lineup—Carlos Bojorquez (guitar, vocals), JT (drums), Steve Mungaroo (bass, vocals), and Tommy Graff (bass, vocals)—channels a shared vision of swirling guitars, driving rhythms, and melancholic atmospheres that feel both intimate and otherworldly.
Drawing inspiration from acts like Love & Rockets and The Jesus and Mary Chain, their sound balances beauty and unease—lush, floral tones wrapped in an ominous haze. Whether on record or in a dimly lit venue, The Noir Dalis create a transportive experience—equal parts dream and descent.
With a growing catalog and a reputation for immersive live performances across the Southern California circuit, the band continues to carve out a distinct identity in the modern psych underground—where every note feels like it's echoing from somewhere just beyond reach.
